On our starting blocks

Red light stops play. Here we are at Meadow View Lock on the northern outskirts of Loughborough ready for departure to pastures new. The River Soar below this lock is still in flood and we are stuck fast until British Waterways gives the 'green light' to cruising. Good walking country here abouts so no real hardship.
