Himself has taken his self off this morning to
Loughborough where he has to pick up a new pair of walking boots from
Millets.
Berghaus agreed that his four month old boots were faulty and agreed he was deserving of replacements, hence the trip on public transport from here in Burton back to
Loughborough - why couldn't he pick them up in Burton? Don't ask.. Meanwhile I have cleaned the boat and then joined Graham and Jill on Matilda Rose to pull together a joint order to Mr.
Tesco - delivery due tomorrow between 9am and 11am.
Food ordering done and dusted, we then took all four dogs for a walk in
Branston Water Park, 30 seconds walk from the boats. Lovely winter wonderland..
Below, the Bridge Inn where the
Tesco order will be met by us tomorrow. We went to see the Landlady and ask permission to have the order dropped off in the
car park at the rear but the Inn is closed Monday lunchtimes! We will have to pop in this evening and grovel..
