Invasion, what invasion?

I was sitting quietly aboard Caxton Wednesday evening when all hell let loose outside. Either a herd of cattle had got into the bell tower of the local church or we had been invaded!  After a lengthy episode of this raucous clanging I did begin to wonder if I would also find the beacon flares had been lit on the surrounding hillsides and it was time to evacuate?   Twenty minutes in, and I was hanging in there thinking of something innocous to say to the invading hoards if they came a knocking, when the bells started to sound vaguely melodious - bell ringers 1, cows 0.  I now know what to expect next week when I am enscounced in my glass fibre caravan in the centre of the marina - I think I will still keep a wary eye of tanks though, just in case the cows know something we don't!

Tow it somewhere else for the night, our moorings are nice at Napton but I am not sure if the caravan site is open yet, it is half term so it may be.
