The morning after..

We are no longer virgins! Sitting in the saloon writing this after our first night aboard Caxton!! The hurricane central heating is busy producing a lovely warmth, the bed was VERY comfortable and most of the clutter is put away.

I will post photo's of the launch later today but just to let you know that all went well and Caxton didn't sink or get dropped by a crane. The day was absolutely exhausting as you might expect.
Back later with photo's...

Well done! Enjoy your boat! Photos will be great. Hope you did not damage your gorgeous paintwork cracking the bottle on the front :-)

* I am going to have to tell the dogs that they will miss the office steak ciabatta run today as we have to go on site at lunchtime. Blue is looking very restless. I think he has worked it out already.

Hurrah! YOu made it, and if the weather near you was anything like the stuff we got here then it must have been GLORIOUS waking up this morning; the mist was rising, the trees golden and the sky blue with the moon hanging gently from it.

Bliss. Hpapy Days.

Excellent news (although the start of your post possibly gives too much information about your first night on board!) Looking forward to the photos.

Many, *many* congratulations! I hope yesterday was the beginning of a wonderful time afloat for you both.

So glad to read all went well - I was only one of many yesterday itching for news of your first hours aboard the lovely Caxton!!

Very best wishes,
Rosie Robertson

Hello All
What a lovely bunch of people you ARE!!
We are really touched and encouraged by your interest and good wishes and look forward to meeting as many of you as possible.

And Adam, the 'virgin' comment was strictly about the boat, too late for conventional meaning to have any validity anymore....

Thanks again everyone!
