Wonderful Wintery World

Here are a selection of photo's that I took when out with the dogs this morning. We were out for two and a half hours, setting off along the towpath in the Leicester direction before turning off onto footpaths and bridleways for a circuitous route across country.

Wow, those photos are stunning! I know the cold and ice can be a pain to narrowboaters on the cut - but it just isn't so pretty on the Thames.

Hi Valonia
To be fair ice IS an issue for working boats, no work, no income.. For the likes of the rest of us it really isn't much to sweat about, staying put with the fire gently warming us is hardly a trial? The aftermath of snow and ice is less beguiling though, mud and gloop, yuk!!!
