Yesterday Himself disappeared into the ensuite as a boaty Captain Pugwash and re-emerged naked! Jury's out! Votes so far: Beard - 12 votes No Beard - 1 vote
I like the bare face Joe, I think it makes you look younger. BUT beards and boats just go together - we witnessed a man cruising along yesterday with hair and beard almost down to his waist - it just looked so RIGHT. Sue ps. would be VERY upset if Richard shaved his beard off!
I've got to hide this post from Amy, she seems to dislike the Manly Stubble (TM) which I often sport. I'm trying to convince her that men only come in Stubbly or Beardy, with no other models available!
I'm going with the beard- it goes with buckby cans, boatman's cabins, beer and boats.
Sue That could make an interesting series of features for the blog. Would that include the before an after photo i.e 'with prominent feature' and 'without prominent feature'? I will have to look into what prominent features Joe might reasonably do without after the removal has been achieved - I can think of one or three at this stage...
My brother pointed out a long time ago that one should never say someone looks better in their glasses as that is tantamount to saying that they are better covered up. Even if you are trying to make them less self conscious about wearing the damn things.
Let me just say he looks lovely with or without the beard!!!
Rob has yet to shave his off but that is another story. I have seen his passport photo though!

That must be the effect of returning to land! Our vote is for the beard, which I'm sure will return once you're back on board Caxton.
A&A
Right so I can count that as two votes for the beard then. Three with my vote of course!

Definately the beard - makes him look much younger!

I only say this because I also fit the category, With a face made for blogging, I'd go for the beard.. Wish mine didn't look so bad.
Has any post ever caused more debate - maybe Joe should model some salient feature, say once a month, for us all to comment on :-)

Beard! - Definitely!
I reckon he needs to go the whole hog:-
Grow the beard AND get an earring.
Oh dear.

Sorry Bobcat - you are definitely sitting on the fence, off you get..decision time

Well I think it is not on that Lesley shreds her topless photos and then shows a bare Joe.
The more of him that's covered up the better. Could we lend him Graham's balaclava 'til it grows back or maybe a pair of tights - 80 denier of course?
