Oil changed

A key chore on the list was to change to oil and filter - above. Himself busy in the engine bay having been to Midland Chandlers at Braunston for the required ingredients.
I have emptied wardrobes and cupboards of the winter clothes, sealed then in vacuum bags and stored them under the bed and filled the empty wardrobes with summer clothes. It seems I have vacuumed packed ALL his socks though, silly me!

Heatwave next week, according to the Met Office. Unless you've jinxed it!

Do you think you could set off now and get somewhere north so we might actually have a chance of buying you a drink to celebrate? This side of Christmas would be good. All this land-based kerfuffle...so glad it's done with! Welcome to the waterways!! Big hugs to everyone, esp. F&F

We will certainly get something sorted. Currently chilling on the Calder & Hebble near Brighouse - definitely one for your future cruising schedule. All the very best for your life afloat - lots of health and happiness and here's to that first drink.

Actually, on second thoughts, don't try the C&H because you won't fit will you? We're only 57ft and you've never seen me move so quickly to get the buttons up front and rear. Never a dull moment certainly.
