The comment above was posted by ANONYMOUS on 17th Jan and refers to the post where I mention we are heading for Braunston.
Can someone tell me why a person that hasn't met you, doesn't know you, hasn't the courage or courtesy to give a name still feels the need to lash out and call you a moron? Further I am apparently damned as a moron because we have read the BW Stoppages Programme and we have planned our movements around it so we can get where we want to go despite of it.
Not bad for a moron, this reading stuff what..
So Anonymous, a word if I may.
If you feel the misguided urge to sit in judgement upon others at least get your facts straight, you spelling and grammer accurate and leave the insults in the playground where they belong. Have a good day!

We must also be morons, as we also planned cruise round the Braunston area, having come up Atherstone before the stoppage in January - as per the BW "Stoppage List". This is the holy grail for continuous or winter cruisers, but obviously passes some people by. Morons of the canals - UNITE!! Really I think this is a case of get a life. Yes some people do not want their names and personal detail,s on show for all to see. We dont need mooring warden around when you let them know where you are how long you,ve been their, where your going next etc. So really who is the said moron in this case. I have no issue with people keeping their details to themselves and being discreet about who they are and where they are, why would I? If anyone wants to stay beneath the radar that is fine by me. Furthermore I have not referred to anyone as a 'moron'. I have however taken issue over the casual casting of insults which is unnecessary and offensive
