I tried to upload some photo's of our trip through the ice and our walk yesterday but the signal is so dire that I have turned to salt here awaiting a result - nevermind I could find myself useful in this icy weather....
We are still iced in a Radford Semele though a brief glance out of the window this morning shows the ice losing its grip. When himself climbs out of the pit we may find ourselves on the move again up the Stockton locks and off to Napton junction - there again?
Yesterday we walked the dogs up the flight to have recce and back to the Two Boats pub for a pint and a packet of pork scratchings for the boys. There is going to be a Beer Festival here at the end of May, the BH weekend, with all six pubs hereabouts taking part so if you like real ale and you are in these parts in May it could be a treat for you.
