Chickened out

We chickened out of attempting 22 Lapworth locks today and instead opted to do just nine mooring between lock 15 and 14 at Lapworth.  We pulled pins at 07.30 this morning and were moored up two hours later. I left Joe to vacuum the crud from the boat whilst I took the dogs back down the locks to assist Jill and Graham on Nb Matilda Rose. After a welcome shower, a visit to the pub was called for so we tried The Boot.  London Pride £3.10 a pint and a packet of crisps £1.20!  A brand new Bentley and several DB9's, a new Range  Rover, a Lexus and a number of Merc's were in abundance in the car park when we came to leave - perhaps explaining the gold-plated crisp prices....

Hi

Sounds like the Boot hasn't changed; that's why we always walk back to the Navigation on the GU.

Cheers

Hi Bruce, good to hear from you. We thought we would give The Boot a try but you are quite right, we will revert to using The Navigation in the future.
