Butty Burglar

Himself is feeling just a tad tetchy; having had his lunch prepared and having decided that he would sit quietly and watch the F1 qualifying he left said lunch on a table near his chair and wandered off to check on something in his office. On arriving back at his chair/table/lunch he was just in time to see the remnants of his ham rolls disappearing down Fletcher's throat!

I DID NOT LAUGH.

Well maybe just a little bit then.. Alright, quite a lot then.

I did make him another sandwich though..

Fletcher is keeping a VERY low profile right now.

Been there, lost the butty, but no sympathy - you should know better!

This is the second time he has lost his lunch to a Labrador - I doubt it will be the last.

I hear that the damp has caused a bumper crop of english truffles. Could F & F's finely-tuned noses be re-trained to hone in on them (rather than bacon butties). At £300 per kilo the boys could afford steak every night and your paltry meals would be left alone :-)

ps. Would try Lou and Blue but it won't work unless I can train truffles to run.....

I suppose I could skip the training and swap the boys for a Pennywell Pig - I could then hit the big time with this scheme and become the Truffle Queen of the Cut - not sure the pig will like living on a boat though - come to think of it, I'm not sure I will want to share the boat with a pig?

Anyway, I think Woolies have got this sewn up, plenty of truffles in their Pic n Mix!
