The Malt Shovel with an 18th century warehouse attached. On the opposite bank of the canal was, until fairly recently, a large independent brewery of the same era, now sadly demolished and replaced with housing.

Suggestion have 2 batteries for your camera ; with 1 always charged.
You want to practice fishing your windlass out of the lock entrance? (I assume you have a magnet?)

As i posted that photograph I just knew that I would have my backside slapped for where the windlass was placed. Ouch!
