Food Glorious Food

First things first..last nights' meal at The Plough Bri 83 Whittington. EXCELLENT!  Very good service, lovely surroundings and an imaginative selection of meals. Not super cheap but not that expensive either. We shared a starter of homemade pate on a bed of salad leaves with fancy toast and onion marmalade. The pate was perhaps a little too light on flavour to cope well with the onion marmalade but palateable nevertheless. I then chose field mushrooms in a creamy stilton sauce while himself had prawn and salmon fishcakes. We were both pleased with our meals and will definitely eat here again when passing. Well done The Plough!!
