We have fond memories of an afternoon in Buxton - fascinating place. Did you see the stampede of locals bringing their containers to pick up their free water from the spring in the square?
We never would have visited these great British sights if it weren't for the boat....

Like you I found Buxton fascinating and beautiful. We are trying to make the most of our travelling lifestyle to see things, getting off of the line whenever possible.
