This morning Joe and I walked to the waterpoint with a bucket and a 10 ltr container and ferried back to Caxton 8 lots of water, 32 gallons in all and poured it into the water tank. Everyone was doing the same thing using an assortment of containers to replenish essential supplies and there was a bit of a Dunkirk spirit in the air.

Lets hope the tap doesn't freeze.

There are notices on the tap to 'leaving it dribbling'to prevent it freezing up and so far all is well. It's proximity to the Anglo Welsh yard is a bonus should the worst happen.

Thats a good idea! Maybe its an argument I can use in my dotage - 'My dribbling is OK my dear because is stops me seizing up'
