We're thawing

We are beginning to thaw - and so is the canal!  The days of carrying buckets of water from the waterpoint back to Caxton are numbered we think - 42 gallons carted yesterday morning so I won't be sorry to lose that task from the 'to do' list.

OH dear, that was a premature hurrah - we've just had 2 inches of fresh snow so we're stranded at home again (not a great hardship).

Ah well, maybe it'll be time for another 'Hurrah' tomorrow - that when they're promising a thaw....
