Will we, won't we
It's only taken 24 years but we have at last got round to making a Will. Prompted by the recent TV programmes and a nag from our friend Val we have finally got round to doing it. We used a will writer rather than a solicitor, paying £99 rather than £200 - £300 we were being quoted by the legal fraternity... Having discussed what we both wanted, I drafted our requirements and emailed them to www.MWlegalservices.co.uk . Two days later we have a Will, how simple is that? We were very pleased with the service we got from Matt Walkden of MW Legal Services and for those thinking of getting round to putting their affairs in order we recommend this simple route.

Please you saved some money using the will writer. Not many people realise you can do it that way. It is so much cheaper. So who gets Caxton......

To honest Amanda it is money for old rope - take info, arrange in a template of legal gibberish and send invoice! But, we are still glad we have tidied matters up. And Caxton, hopefully she will be long gone and we will be enjoying our 2nd or 3rd boat before we leave this mortal coil..fingers XXX

Things are moving along a bit quicker down here. House goes on the market in March, the animals have been to the vets and had their rabies jabs, so we now have to wait 6 months before we can take them to the UK.So hopefully will be there late summertime. Hopefully the exchange rate will be still in our favour.
So if you are looking at upgrading boat around that time.... :-)

Delighted that your plans are coming to fruition and I hope that we get a chance to meet once you arrive for your first winter on the cut. Sadly, Caxton will not be available unless you want to live with a grumpy old man (Himself) and lovely lady (Me) and two hairy mutts, (Them).
A proven 'liveaboard' boat is a good buy because the electrics, insulation and standard of kit and storage space are critical to a good quality of life when the boat is your HOME.
If we can offer any advice - feel free...
