I was talking to Jill and Graham of Nb Matilda Rose a couple of days ago about when we might get our State Pensions and there was some confusion. Now maybe that is just an age thing or it could be that this subject is a moving feast and a lot of us are a bit befuddled...
So to aid clarity I post this Pension Calculator for anyone who wants know when they will graduate to OAP status!

Have been using that for a while and they keep moving the b***** goal posts!
Hi Lesley
Hope that you got paid for your winter story and pictures in the December issue of Canal boat out today. Hope you have a better winter this year.
Best Wishes for Christmas and the New Year
Bob June and Tucker
bin there, done that, got the t-shirt (pension that is)
Carol see you saturday.
Oh Tucker you are a clever Labrador!! Can you tell your master and mistress, Bob and June, that No, I didn't get paid for the Canal Boat item and neither did they 'pay' me the courtesy of a proper acknowledgement or link as agreed. I am less than impressed with the editorial standard but hey ho, I won't lose any sleep over it.
I hope we have a better winter especially with the launch of Yarwood in Jan... into the ice or not into the ice?
Thank you for your Christmas Wishes, we are off to Essex to stay with family for a change so that will be good. Best wishes to you guys and have a really lovely Christmas Tucker before you have to start work !

Hi Julie
I think my date is fairly static now, 65 years and 9mths when I get mine SP but the younger people will find it stretches a bit more over the next decade or so I guess.
Lesley
See you Saturday Carol, looking forward to it - I think Joe wants to have a rootle in your engine 'ole If you don't mind that is?
Lesley
The unfortunate thing about the calculator is that it hasn't been upgraded since the time it was first put on the site and is now giving you the wrong dates, who believes anything the government says!
