This Nb Blue Berry. This is the boat that was moored behind us at Marple. The owner of this boat thinks it is fine to run his generator at 10.30 at night. Joe had to get up out of bed at 10.45 and ask him to turn it off. Joe had to go because by this time I had worked myself into a bit of a lather about the noise and perhaps my approach would have been less than diplomatic - more like Israeli diplomacy !!

I hope you reported them to BW so they can take action as the rules clearly say you may not run your engine or generator after 8pm.
I always speak to boat owners when it reaches ten past eight, allowing for a little misjudgement, and I have evidence of BW taking action against those reported more than once - but they can only do so if you report it.
Good on yer, Lesley - Name and Shame 'em. That's what I'd do too (unless he had a VERY good reason - which I suspect he didn't!)

The owner of NB Blue Berry turned off his gennie when requested and that was the end of the matter as far as we were concerned. If he hadn't complied then BW would have been informed. He did win the opportunity of being featured in the blog though...
